To continue this legacy we are extremely proud to bring the “X range” into our standard series with the ML1 X.
Beautifully crafted from Maple, Macassar Ebony, Ash and Mahogany and with high end appointments like super rolled edges, a Chapman 2-point trem featuring a steel block, you’ll quickly see that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Perfectly balancing flexibility, playability, and tone, the ML1 X comes equipped with its own Chapman Consentus HSS ALNICO 5 pick up set that truly allow the voice of the instrument to come through. A Macassar Ebony fretboard on a flame maple neck is an irresistible combination for the guitarist considering the ML1 X. As well as the C-shaped neck carve and the rolled fretboard edges, there’s a glorious satin finish that makes this guitar smooth to play.

Chapman’s ML1 X’s thin lightweight Mahogany body and gloss Ash veneer is an exquisite blend of form and function and is perfect for the cross-genre musician. It’s ergonomically contoured but the shape and build also provides a balanced tonal foundation.
